Edon Dairy Treat

This is our favorite local spot for ice cream !! Even the food is amazing!! We ordered burgers, coney dogs,fries, shakes and a Banana Split in a Cup. I love that I can get a smaller Banana Split just for me! The prices can't be beat either. Family of four fed for just under 40. With Shakes instead of cola. Absolutely love this place!! They have a drive up window and outdoor seating under a carport type build. Highly recommend!!

Oh heck yes. This the best spot in town, the only spot in town. And it is great. Great people, met the owner, and look at what they're serving. Double cheeseburger onion rings and a lemon shake. Thank you so much. I definitely recommend and I'm sure glad I stopped.

This oasis, Edon Dairy Treat, is about five minutes south of the Ohio Turnpike. It’s worth the brief detour from your journey to visit the EDT. Great menu of food and ice cream treats from burgers to turtle sundaes. The atmosphere is warm with a friendly staff and Edon residents enjoying their dairy treats. We’ve visited three times and have always enjoyed our experience.

If you are in the Edon area this is a great place to stop for dessert. I like their soft-serve ice cream and sundaes. Sometimes they have orange soft-serve which is my favorite. I have yet to try their sandwiches and such but what I've seen looks good. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable and the service is good.

Edon is privileged to host these venues, which serve as the cornerstone of agricultural and football-centric weekends. The milkshakes were exceptional. I savored a small chocolate milkshake, which was reasonably priced and offered an unbeatable value. The service was remarkably prompt, allowing me to swiftly obtain my chocolate milkshake during a brief work-related lunch break.

September 1st Edon Dairy Treat is our splurge & get out of the house place to go! Tried the Raspberry & Pineapple shakes today ! Very good ! We love going here! UPDATE 4-1-2023 MY Wife's birthday is today & she wanted to go to Edon Dairy Treat to celebrate! The FOOD, STAFF/SERVICE WERE EXCELLENT!!!! THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE WHO MADE OUR FOOD & SERVED US!!! YOU ALL MADE HER BIRTHDAY AWESOME!!! We took a Sunday drive, just to get out of the house & town for a bit. No place in mind to go, just go. Never been through most of the little towns we encountered today. It was around noon & we were hungry & thirsty, just happened to see the Edon Dairy Treat. We prefer mom & pop businesses over chain stores. You always get better tasting food & great service. That is EXACTLY what we received at this wonderful place! The place was busy & the wait for our order was definitely worth it ! Very impressed with the friendly service & the tasty food & how cozy the place was. Outdoor seating was nice, plentiful. The folks around the business, waiting for their orders were warm & welcoming, striking up a conversation with everyone, felt like being in our home town. We live about an hour away from Edon. My wife says they have the best onion rings she had ever had! We had burgers, very nicely made & tasty, breaded mushrooms & a float & shake. Ice cream was delicious in them, flavored to perfection !! My wife & I will making this our Sunday afternoon getaway place of choice, at least one time a month!!! They have something Great & Special with this shop, We hope they don't change a thing with what they do!

This place has been in Edon for 20 years or more. Cute little old fashioned ice cream place. It is the best ice cream place around. Well worth the drive. The staff are super friendly they treatyou like family, helpful, welling to make your milkshake the way you like it. They have lots of ice cream flavors to choose from. I am not sure if they offer yougart. They have a large food menu. I am hooked right now on their patty melt, I have 1000 island dressing added to mine. They have a drive up window, a walk-up window. They also have picnic tables to set at once you order. I am not sure if they have public restrooms.
